A Midwestern gal at heart with big-city valor, I moved to New York City from Madison, Wisconsin in 2006 to work in the melting pot of all things creative. I did PR for boutique brands like BAGGU and Hable Construction; and art directed photo shoots for Bust and Venus Zine. Having worked closely with small companies with big hearts and missions, I wanted to find a way to bridge the gap between the brand and the user. I now specialize in UX and visual design.
In between, I work on social justice causes involving LGBTQ topics, youth empowerment and women's advocacy for organizations like the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls and The Heart. (Thanks to Jessica Bruah for the photo.)
